If someone told
my friends and I in the mid-1990s that アニメ and video games
would be as popular and socially accepted
as it is today we wouldn't have believed them.
What's even more unbelievable
is that if someone told us that making boom-bap beats using game music samples
would also be a thing
(something we were doing almost 20 years ago)
I would have laughed.
